Fight Off The Appearance of Wrinkles

It seems like the older we get, the more time and money we spend attempting to cover up the results of aging skin. We are steadily searching for magic creams and procedures that can make our wrinkles vanish. Sometimes we can lose hope of ever seeing our wrinkle-free selves again.

Many of us have saved and scrimped together funds for numerous botox and lifting procedures to stave off the impending sagging of our skin. Invasive operations and high-end creams aren’t always practical. Finding the appropriate solution for aging skin can seem like a never-ending struggle. If you are watching for a treatment that can kick your wrinkles to the curb, seek no further – Plasma pen is here!

How the Plasma Pen Works

According to the professionals at West End Plastic Surgery, the plasma pen works by converting electrical energy into electrostatic energy. The energy is transferred to the tip of the pen by impulse. When the probe reaches 1mm away from the skin, oxygen and nitrogen are mixed to produce an arc of plasma.

Once touched by the plasma, the skin begins contracting. This combined with the thermal disruption within the dermis stimulate collagen production for the next several months. The pen delivers tiny traumas to the epidermis that cause the skin to dry into carbon crusts, leaving your skin renewed and rejuvenated.

Why Should You Get a Plasma Pen Treatment?

Plasma pens are not a one-trick-pony! While the most common reason to receive a  treatment is to improve the appearance of wrinkles, the plasma pen can do so much more! Some of the more common benefits are listed below.

Recently, a few of the My Absolute Beauty crew discovered what plasma pens could do for them. Check out this video of our very own Kate and Kenzie talking about their recent experience with their procedures and other exciting news from My Absolute Beauty:

The Healing Process

As you can see in the video, Both Kate and Kenzie have recently received plasma pen treatments. What you may not have realized: Kate and Kenzie filmed that video less than 24 hours after their treatments!

As shown by our team, plasma pen treatments are something that should not affect your ability to return to normal activities. Unlike many other skin treatments, plasma pens require remarkably minimal downtime.

Since there are no scalpels or stitches, your downtime will be nothing compared to treatments that utilize those means. Along with the absence of cutting comes an absence of bruising. The only skin that will reveal any signs of discoloration is the skin that comes directly in contact with the plasma arc.

Due to the nature of the treatment, you will see an immediate improvement in the tightness of your skin. The plasma blast causes the skin to firm up immediately, with full results coming to fruition over the next few months.

Other perks of plasma pen treatments are listed below.

Is there a certification course for the plasma pen? Do Estheticians have to be under a doctors license to use it on clients? What is the cost of the pen? I have also been considering the Procell Microchanneling device. Do you have an opinion on which one has better results both short term and long term?
