Lash Lift Services

Lash lift is one of the newest beauty procedures that you can offer your clients. In today’s post, we are going to dedicate some time to better understanding what lash lift is and answering your most frequently asked questions.

When you partner with My Absolute Beauty for your lash lift — and lash and brow tint and semi-permanent makeup — needs, you not only get the best products — but you also get world-class training by the industry’s experts. Choose online or hands-on training and you’ll be certified to carry the products and market yourself as an expert beauty professional.

What is Lash Lift?

Lash lift is the updated version of the old, outdated procedure of lash perm. Lash lift uses silicone rods to lift the lashes from the roots to lift, curl, and lengthen natural lashes to create a bright, full look that negates the need for eyelash extensions.

How long do I schedule the Lash Lift appointment for?

The Lash Lift procedure takes about 40 minutes or slightly longer for unruly or coarse hair. Total time should take about 45 to 50 minutes. If you are scheduling just the Lash Lift, we recommend allocating an hour. For add on services, such as lash and brow tint, we suggest 90 minutes just to be safe!

Do my clients need mascara?

No way! Done correctly, the last lift procedure fills and lengthens eyebrows while giving the perfect curl that doesn’t require mascara. Of course, if your client desires a temporary darker look, your clients can absolutely use mascara. We recommend aftercare serums to help strengthen and promote healthy growth.

How long does Lash Lift last?

Lash Lift can last 6 to 8 weeks, but may vary from person to person and how your client maintains their lashes. There is no need for professional maintenance or touch-ups between appointments. For clients whose Lash Lift doesn’t last at least 6 weeks, encourage them to reduce swimming in chlorine, using harsh chemicals on their face and avoid excessive heat. If Lash Lift does not last the full 8 weeks, wait at least 4 weeks after the initial lift to repeat the procedure.

Can Lash Lift be used to complement other procedures?

Of course! We encourage you to list Lash Lift as an add-on procedure and can be completed with procedures including

  • Lash tint
  • Facial
  • Eyebrow tint or microblading.

We do not recommend coupling a Lash Lift with eyelash extensions or on the same day as applying permanent eyeliner.

How do I get certified?

If you are a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician, you can complete the live online training or attend hands-on training to become certified. If you purchase the online training kit at My Absolute Beauty, it includes the materials needed to complete Lash Lift procedures as well as your certificate and access to lifetime support from My Absolute Beauty.
Once you have completed the course, you will have access to marketing products and be able to advertise your salon as offering the Lash Lift service. We will feature you on our “find a stylist” page and help route clients to you!
